Our History
Logspan began in 2006 when founder John Newberry recognised a growing demand for high-quality, affordable timber buildings in the UK. He believed customers deserved more than catalogue images — they should be able to see real structures, walk inside them, and trust the people behind them.
Starting with just a handful of cabins, the company quickly grew through word-of-mouth, quality workmanship, and a service-first attitude.
Over the years, Logspan expanded its range from garden rooms and log cabins to BBQ huts, saunas, shepherd huts, glamping pods, and full commercial developments. As the business grew, so did the team and the scale of projects — from simple home offices to multi-unit hotel and glamping installations across the UK.
Today, Logspan is led by Austin Newberry, maintaining the same family values of integrity, teamwork, quality, and genuine care for every customer.
