In December 2024, we delivered and installed 2 of our Finman Retreats for Saltbox Escapes, based in Coleford, Gloustershire.  It was a year in the making, after speaking initially to Simon in 2023.

These quaint retreats are nestled in a meadow in the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. Designed for couples and families alike, these huts combine fairytale charm with modern comfort for an unforgettable escape in nature.

It was such a massive project to complete so far from home however, with our Essex based installation team, no stone was left unturned, and the results speak from themselves!

Inside

Each retreat features a circular living area with a double sofa bed, making a perfect spot to unwind with a movie or good book. A side bedroom offers a king-size double bed, dressed in quality linens, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep.

A well-equipped kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge and freezer - everything you need for preparing hearty breakfasts, easy lunches or picnic supplies.

Enjoy a 42-inch Smart TV with streaming apps like Netflix and Amazon, plus excellent Wi-Fi throughout the property and there are plenty of electric sockets and charging points.
